Jannatul Ferdous Peya is a Bangladeshi Super Model and Actress. She was born in khulna City. She is the most popular supermodel in Bangladesh, who has international fame. She has participated and won various international beauty pageant and fashion shows. Apart from modelling, she also acts in TV Dramas and Dhallywood Films ( Bangladeshi Bangla Film). 

She made her acting debut with a Telefilm, “To Be or Not to Be” by Partho Sarkar. Her debut movie is “Chorabali”. For her acting in that film, she won critics’ choice best actress of Meril Prothom Alo Award 2012. She is currently busy shooting “The Story of Samara”.

Jannatul Ferdous Peya starts her media career with ramp model and then she takes this profession in her career. She first got media attention as a contestant of Miss Bangladesh 2007. She was eventually was crowned Miss Bangladesh in 2007. She won World Miss University in South Korea in 2011, when she was studying in LCLS (London College of Legal Studies). In 2013 Jannatul Ferdous Peya was crowned Indian Princess International. She also participated in International Princess World Wide Beauty Pageant 2013 in Bahrain and World Top Model 2013 in Egypt.

The film is written and directed by Bangladeshi television drama director Redoan Rony. The movie also featured famous actors such as Shahiduzzaman Selim, Joya Ahsan, A. T. M. Shamsuzzaman, Sohel Rana, Indraneil Sengupta, Masud Parvez and Iresh Zaker. For her acting in that film, she won critics’ choice best actress of Meril Prothom Alo Award 2012.

Recently Jannatul Ferdous Peya signed two films, Ahmed Ali Mandal’s romantic Film “Probashir Prem” and Rikia Masud’s Science Fiction Film “The Story of Samara”. “The Story of Samara” will be a big budget film with innovative styles, many of those will be first time in Dhallywood Films ( Bangladeshi Bangla Movie). The film will shoot in 3D and also will involve Special Effects. The film and is expected to release in 2014. With Peya, the film also stars Shanju and Aman Khan, Prosun Azad and Shiba in lead roles. The film is a joint venture of Bangladesh and Japan. It is expected that, upon release, “The Story of Samara” will be one of the most expensive Bangladeshi film ever made. In August 2013, Peya signed for Ashikur Rahman’s “Gangster Return” with Apurbo. The film will be co-produced by Saiful Azim and Asian TV.
