Bollywood diva Aishwarya Rai Bachchan dazzled in black for an evening session at the 2013 Cannes Film Festival. The 39­-year-old former Miss World is at the French Riviera, with a host of other stars, as part of Cannes' recognition of the 100th anniversary of Indian cinema.

Aishwarya Rai is a regular at Cannes, in her role as an ambassador for cosmetics brand L'Oreal. On this occasion though, she was on the red carpet for the screening of Indian film Bombay Talkies. She looked gorgeous in a traditional Indian outfit - a black-and-gold embroidered lehenga-sari from Indian designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee - and teamed it with matching golden accessories for her hair.
